How to Apply
Representing Illinois State as a Study Abroad student
requires each student to meet with a Study Abroad Advisor as well as
the completion of the online application and applicable forms.
- Step 1: Attend a First Steps session to learn how to get started looking at the study abroad website, program opportunities, classes, budgets and how to apply.
Call our main office to make an appointment: 309-438-5276.
- Step 3: Create a Study Abroad account online on Abroad Office.
- Step 5: If a program is faculty directed, meet with the Faculty Director (contact information can be found on the program specific page).
- Step 7: If you receive Financial Aid, meet with Financial Aid counselor, Shawn Rigsby, to determine how your aid will apply to study abroad.
- Step 8: If you receive College Illinois, contact Mark Schoop in Student Accounts to determine how your College Illinois will apply to study abroad.
