The city is home to several award winning museums, art galleries, and theaters

Academics _______________
Students will take one 3 credit hour course: NUR 313
Program Dates

After spring semester ends, mid-May to late May

Prerequisites _______________
Successful completion of at least 16 credit hours from MCN or another nursing school which was approved as successfully fulfilling bachelor level transfer nursing credit.
At minimum, the following courses must be successfully completed: Adult Nursing I, Health Assessment, Patho Pharm, Psychomotor Skills
Must submit a Transcultural Nursing Application to the coordinator (Melissa Moody) by the due date
Must agree to participate in August Transcultural Nursing Orientation for 1
Required to include a non-refundable administrative fee with application
Must have an ISU cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher or 3.0 cumulative graduate GPA
Housing & Meals _______________
Students will be hosted by a family and student from Vladimir Medical College

Student Experience _______________
Students learn about the health care delivery system in Russia, about nursing curriculum, and about the people and culture of the largest country in the world.
Will spend time touring hospitals, clinics, local culture sites, and interact with nursing students at the college
Students will have the option of traveling to Moscow.
