This program is based in northwestern Spain in the city of Salamanca
Salamanca was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1988 and a European City of Culture in 2002
With a population over 150,000 people, Salamanca is the second most populated city in the Castilla y León region
Considered a university town, there is no shortage of cafes, terraces and discos, nightlife and art-filled streets
In the city centre, you will find many museums, theatres, cinemas, shops and good restaurants

ISU cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher
Participants will be selected by the department
Please Note: This is a highly competitive program. Only two students per semester and one per academic year may participate in this program

Housing & Meals _______________
Students will have the option between residence halls, shared flats, or homestay.
Most students choose the residence hall option. However the decision remains up to you.

With a university campus of over 30,000 students, there is always something happening on campus
Over 9,000 international students make up the international student population of Universidad de Salamanca
The Universidad de Salamanca has various academic system locations in Avila, Bejar, Salamanca, Villamayor and Zamora. However, ISU students will study at the Salamanca campus
The academic centers in Salamanca are scattered around Salamanca, all of which are approximately 20 minutes from city centre
