Student Life _______________

• Join one Uppsala University’s Student Nations (Clubs)
• The thirteen Student Nations are clubs dating back to the 17th century
• Each nation bears the name of a certain region in Sweden and historically it was a club for students from that region, as an international student you are free to choose which nation you want to join
• The Botanical Gardens, always closely connected with the University of Uppsala, have been used for teaching for 350 years, and the grounds have a very rich history
• Visit Uppsala Domkyrka, the largest church in Sweden that started in 1260
• See Uppsala Castle, a modest castle (in both size and decor) on a scenic hilltop in historical Uppsala
